GUC Configuration

This document describes how to configure Grand Unified Configuration (GUC) parameters using MatrixUI.

Note! Modifying GUC configurations may impact the availability and performance of the entire cluster. Exercise caution when making changes.

1. GUC Parameters

  • Navigation Path: Cluster -> Configure GUC.

  • The interface includes two tabs: Common and All. The Common page displays frequently used GUC parameters, while the All page allows you to view and manage all available GUC parameters.

2. Modify GUC Parameters

  • After modifying a GUC parameter and saving the changes, the system automatically reloads the configuration.

  • Some GUC parameters require a cluster restart to take effect after modification.
